I am so sick of paying for people to use it especially if its under $10.00... Should i charge say 50Cents per transaction? How much should i charge people to use the eftpos facility at my beauty salon?
**If you're so sick of it why don't you just tell people that they can't use it if it's under a certain amount and if they insist on doing it THEN charge them a fee for it, explaining that you get charged fees.**How much should i charge people to use the eftpos facility at my beauty salon?
I agree that for small transactions it could bite into your profit margin. However, I would not charge any more as a fee than what the bank charges you as I assume you want to encourage customers to return to your store. As for larger transactions, if you work out all the associated costs involved with banking if you were paid in cash I think you are better off taking the eftpos charge. That is of couse unless you are trying to avoid the taxman but that's another issue altogether!
I think its fair in shops when they make you pay if its under a certain amount. Like $2 if its under $20 or something like that. I think its fair to assume people carry $20 in cash, a larger amount doesn't seem fair and you may loose some customers.
One dollar is the usual amount business charge as a sort of surcharge for anything under $10.
One dollar
it depends.
