The chemical industry, i would judge, is just fine.......as polluting as ever...................any business is potentially profitable: it is a matter of place in point and time...........restaurants are almost surely a bust unless you have a bunch of bucks and a lot of talent.........phillipines?......i'd go with the chemical manufacturing
