How long to you have to have lived in a region to represent it in a beauty pageant?

Morning everyone :-) OK, I'm currently living in Wales, and although I only moved here last year, I am planning on applying to represent my city in Miss Wales in the 2008 competition. By the application deadline I will have been living in Wales for my third year. Does my domicile have to be for longer in order to run? If my memory serves me correctly.....once. I pulled it off too. I wore a wig and a wonder bra ad had my ex put on make-up and all. I would have even done me......happy times ;)How long to you have to have lived in a region to represent it in a beauty pageant?
contact the director for the best answer. rules vary in different areas and systems. good luck!
Three years is probably long enough but every pageant system is different. Check w/ the director to be sure..You dont want to spend the money to enter and prepare only to be disqualified. good luck!!

anyway, i think it depends on the region you are in. some pageants have strict rules, some don't. here in the Philippines i think a year is enough, even less than that for some. i don't know about wales though.


have you tried contacting the pageant coordinator about that matter?
