How do I get involved in beauty pageants?

I really want to get involved with beauty pageants with but i am clueless with where to start..I love modelling and fashion etc and i feel beauty pageants would be a good place to start..Any advice or help would be much appreciated!! :) please help! I would start out with local pageants first. Like your county fair pageant. I did my county fair pageant this year and it was so fun. Many of the girls are new too, so you're not competing against professionals. You meet many new friends from all over your county, and its a truly great experience. Once you've done that, then start moving up into larger pageants, like open pageants in your state. In case you don't know, open pageants mean anyone in the state can compete in them, not just girls from a certain county, like the fair pageant. There will be more experienced pageant girls there, but it will probably help you in long run, just watch them and see how they walk, talk, etc. After this, heck, you can even compete in a Trump pageant (Miss Your State Teen USA, Miss Your State USA) or national pageants. There several types of pageants. You need to decide what type you want to do, natural, glitz, scholarship etc. Getting a coach can be very helpful. There are tons of pageants in every state, but do your research first to make sure it is a reputable system! Report Abuse

When you do pageants you are trying to win the ultimate grand supreme, state queens... ect. it matters which pageant





MANDATORY THINGS FOR A PAGEANT....





Spray tan (If you have fair skin)





flippers (Fake teeth, if teeth are small, you lost them, or if they are really yellow) or teeth whiteners (to make your teeth stand out a little more, and to make them whiter)





hair extensions or fake hair pieces





pretty dresses (Get at least 4 to choose from)





professional glamour pictures (Neck and up),





shaved legs, laser hair removal, or waxing

If your just starting pageants I would suggest competing in local ones. After you do local pageants you kind of get the feel for it. I'm not sure where your from so i don't really know about that. But I'm sure you'd sound like you will love pageants. I started at a local pageants when I was 4 and then moved onto bigger state pageants. So far I have only done 4 glitz pageants, I'm 14 I don't like those as much, but it is really fun to get dressed up in the big dresses and make up and stuff.

Well you need to start in those pageants from your town and maybe start in a modeling school and ifm your good they start sending you to contest and the they call you in
If you're in the UK, try getting into the Miss Teen UK beauty pageant. It is still currently open for entries so just search the site on the Internet.
you get involved in beauty pagents when you find one near you/ go to a beauty school.
