What advise would you give your younger self ?

Thanks =]What beauty advise would you give your younger self?
i grew up in the 80's...boy, where do i even begin???
1) do NOT spend 8 hours in the sun without wearing sunblock!!!
2) asians were NEVER meant to be BLOND!
3) drink water instead of soda
4) have fun with fashion, make up and hair! now's the time to do it
5) celebrate your individual beauty and don't try to look like everyone elseWhat beauty advise would you give your younger self?
Im 22. I would tell myself to use ONLY natural/organic beauty products and health products. for EVERYTHING I use. and I wish natural health magazine was around when I was your age! that would have been my fav! I would have read that for sure! I also would tell myself to shop at natural health food stores for products or Vitacost! vitacost has the best prices for natural/organic facewash, toothpaste, bodywash ,and everything you need! vitacost has better prices then the local natural health food store.organic toothpaste is like $6 at the natural store VS $3ish for toothpaste.organic facewash from the store is like $12 VS $7 from vitacost.
It's so important and better for your health! to use all natural products.
toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, bodywash,鈥?up remover, and so much more!
1. Don't plaster your hair to your head; the natural ponytail is much better. - I did this when I was your age, not sure if girls still do it.
2. Use Sunscreen! - You don't want wrinkles or worse when you get older.
3. If your eyebrows are seperated and not one wait to pluck. Better yet, go to a licensed beautician to get a professional wax job.
4. Don't color your hair, natural always looks best.
5. Moisturize - young and old its always nice to have soft skin
6. Drink tons of water and eat right - healthy = beautiful
7. Don't look to celebs for the ';right'; way to look - most likely you are more beautiful than you know/give yourself credit for!
I'm 19 so not too much older but I suggest you use a moisturizer every day, preferably with SPF 15. Everyone in my family, my mom, grandma, and late great grandma, started using Oil of Olay at about 16 and they all had smooth soft skin and very few wrinkles. My mom says my great grandma had the most beautiful skin up until the day she died and she swore it was because of the moisturizer. I started using it at about 15 and I know it even improved my skin's texture and it helped me get less break outs.
This is a great question!
The first thing I would definitely tell my younger self to fake tan instead of laying out (I'm 25 and starting to get paranoid about wrinkles/age spots, even though I don't have any yet).
The second thing would be ';Stop picking at your face and go to a dermatologist.';
The third would be ';Listen to your mom when she tells you that your clothes look silly - she knows what she's talking about!';
If you ever lose weight don't gain it back. Ive recently lost a lot of weight and gained every pound of it back because i got depressed. Now im trying to get myself back on a diet (Ive been trying for 3 months)
Don't color your hair to much stay with you're natural color. That's why it was given to you. I have very damaged hair between dying it and with all the products i put in it (My hair is curly and very hard to control and style)
Don't use face powder/concealer etc. EVER!! Just stick with simple mascara, eye shadow, eye liner etc dont over do it uoure still a young girl, no need for makeup.
- Drink lots of water. It's good for your health and great for your skin!
- Exercise. You may be thin when you are young, but trust me. It will catch up with you! (My parents always told me that, and i never did anything about it. Now I exercise like crazy just to maintain my figure)
- Moisturize! You need to make sure that you are moisturizing your skin all the time. As well as washing your makeup off before you go to bed. If you moisturize early on in life then your skin will be fresh looking when you are ';older';.
Don't smoke cigarettes - they're really bad for the skin (especially around the lips!) not to mention the lungs. Plus they smell baaaaad.
Sunscreen is your friend.
Eat a well balanced diet - I was one of those girls who could eat anything and not gain weight - until I was 30!
Exercise even if you hate it, don't use diet drugs or purging.
Drink lots of water and get lots of rest.
Drink only slight amounts of alcohol, do not use drugs at all. (These will ruin your looks, and make you look old, old, old fast.)
I'm 26 and looking back now I wish I could tell myself in high school to just be happy with my body. I was always covering up and wearing baggy clothes cause I thought I was fat, now I realize how great I looked. Also don't be afraid to experiment. People are going to be telling you soon enough to grow up and look more serious. Have fun with fashion now.
I hope this helps!
Don't shave your eyebrows! Pluck them.
Don't use sun-in, it's bad for your hair. Really bad.
Don't use soap to remove makeup, use cleanser.
Orange/red lipstick doesn't look good on anyone.
i would say 2 a younger me , quit puttin so much black eyeliner n sliver eyeshadow on ( i use think this was a gd look at 13 when it really wasn't)
Take good care of your skin. Keep it clean and healthy, and don't pile on too much makeup. Stick with a more natural, earthy look.
I would have to say, don't go blonde if you aren't a natural blonde to begin with.
Don't wear too much make-up and never squeeze spots!
