How would the characters in Sleeping Beauty be considered ';stock characters';?

Just look at Sleeping Beauty (Princess), Prince, evil fairy, good fairy, the king and queen. How would the characters in Sleeping Beauty be considered ';stock characters';?
I'm not so they are ';stock'; characters so much as archetypal characters. Disney understood well that complicated characters could be confusing to a child, and he wanted his audience to feel good about watching his flicks. The Evil Queen is like Mom when she punishes you for bad behavior. The prince or princess is what a child identifies with.

To me, a stock character would be the kind of character that most of us would expect in a given genre. For example: in old space movies the crew of the spaceship were the Brave Captain, the Beautiful Copilot, the Professor, and some kid who's always getting into trouble, usually named Bucky.

Excluding kids movies, the best and most popular films are the ones with the most unique and developed character roles. But for children, the best ones have the most dramatic and powerful archetypes. Just my opinion. How would the characters in Sleeping Beauty be considered ';stock characters';?
you answered your own question. There is a princess in distress, a good prince, an evil stepmother/witch etc. They are ';stock'; characters because they are typical characters.
well you get rather cliche characters, like in Snow White:

one beautiful princess, a mother that promptly dies, an evil stepmother, the 7 dwarfs are unique to that story.
