What are some modern examples of Beauty in death?

I'm taking this philosophy class on Aesthetics and we are discussing the things that aren't typically applied to Beauty, such as death. I was just wandering if there are more modern examples of death that are portrayed in a beautiful aspect.

If you have seen Wes Anderson's ';The Darjeeling Limited'; there is this one scene of a funeral of a young boy that is being celebrated by people dressed all in white, which is contrasted by a mourning group of people in USA dressed all in black at another funeral.

Something or anything along those lines? What are some modern examples of Beauty in death?
...silence...

...absence of pain, stress, worries and impatience...

...no aches and pains...

...forever at peace...What are some modern examples of Beauty in death?
Body Worlds is a perfect example. I don't know if you've heard of it but it's where people's real (dead) bodies are put through a process called plastanization which replaces fluids in the body with plastic. Hard to explain but look up Body Worlds on any search engine. Kinda grotesque but pretty cool too, especially for seeing the inner parts of the human body.
I think it depends on the interpretation of death; the works of Gunther von Hagens, the photos of Brady %26amp; O'Sullivan, pressed flowers, leather, fur, and perfected food dishes are all examples of beauty where death is necessary.
cut flowers are considered beautiful but they are essentially dead.
I have been to that show too. I think it is called Body WORKS though. You should look at pictures of it.
I have found that although I am sad, due to a death, I find that I am more sad for the people that are left behind. They are the ones that are truly hurting, the deceased is free, free of all of the hatred and ugliness, pain and desperation, the loneliness, the sinister ways that people treat each other, amongst a barrage of other horrific deeds that the human being is capable of and I think that is beautiful that they are finally free, so usually by the time I leave the funeral home and drive to the cemetery for the graveside services, I am filled with a strange sense of peace and joy knowing that the spirit has left its shell and one less person is suffering in this ugly world. One more thing that I find very beautiful is the way a family will comfort each other in a time such as that, you see the soft side of people that is saved for only times such as those and it is absolutely beautiful to see the tough exterior of some put aside to honor someone else.
