Do you tip the ladies who work in the beauty shop on Kadena Ab?

I know its a silly question but have heard Okinawans don't like to be tipped. Its my first time at a beauty shop on base and don't want to look silly.Do you tip the ladies who work in the beauty shop on Kadena Ab?
if they are japanese then do not give them a tip if they are american then by all means give them a tip...japanese do not expect tips..and its actually rude to give them one...Do you tip the ladies who work in the beauty shop on Kadena Ab?
